Privacy Policy — Approve it.

1. Who we are

Approve It Portal ("Approve it.", "we", "us") is a Dubai-based service that uses artificial intelligence to evaluate business names. We operate under a Dubai trade license issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). Our contact email is info@approveit.ae.

2. What data we collect

Business names and industry you submit for analysis.
Your email address if you choose to continue past the free anonymous verdict, or if you purchase a plan via Stripe.
Browser identifier — a random string stored in your browser to count free verdicts. This does not identify you personally.
Technical request data — IP address, browser type, and timestamps (standard server logs).
Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

3. How we use your data

To generate AI-based verdicts on the names you submit.
To count how many verdicts you have used (for free tier limits and paid plans).
To improve our scoring models in aggregate, never tied to identifiable individuals.
To prevent abuse and maintain service reliability.

We do not have a sign-up form or user dashboard. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

4. Third parties

Names you submit are sent to OpenAI for AI evaluation. OpenAI does not use submitted content to train its models when accessed via our API contract. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which collects and stores your billing details under their own privacy policy. We do not sell user data to advertisers or third parties.

5. Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and equivalent regulations including GDPR for European users, you have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your data.
Export your verdict history.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@approveit.ae with your request. We respond within 5 business days.

6. Data retention

We retain your email and verdict history indefinitely while our service is operational, unless you request deletion. Verdict content (the AI-generated analysis) may be retained in anonymized form for service improvement.

7. Browser storage

We store a small amount of data in your browser's local storage to:

Remember your last verdict so you can see it again on return visits.
Track free verdicts via an anonymous browser identifier.
Store your access token after email signup or payment.

Clearing your browser data will remove these. You can also remove them manually through your browser settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
